On The Record
“On The Record” is a rebranding project focused around providing business updates and tips for improving oneself as a professional. The branding was created as an homage to radio and broadcasting eras.
The focus of the brand is to be simple and recognizable while also providing longevity in an iconic logo mark. This was achieved through the radio tower and half circle design with striking green primary color. The electric bolts signify a broadcast signal and the entire lockup is framed within a badge design for wide usage.
The Ask
The purpose of this redesign was to elevate an ongoing series for an internal broadcast by a senior leader within Rocket Mortgage. The brand was designed in such a way that it can be pulled apart and scaled with multiple applications in mind, including live broadcast, podcasts, and email updates. The main goal of this design was for it to have lasting usage, which has been achieved. This “On The Record” redesign was created in 2019 and is still used to this day.
